We fly the horses to the USA

European Select Auction 6th – 8th of March 2021

European Select Auction is born from the collaboration of two renowned names in show jumping world: Sharn Wordley and Steve Tinti.

Sharn Wordley is a rider who has represented New Zealand in numerous Nation’s Cups, the 2008 Olympic Games and was on the 2018 WEG team. He has competed in 22 countries and was the young rider champion of New Zealand earlier in his career. Living in Europe, Wordley successfully competed in some of the world’s most prestigious shows, including CSIO5* Rome, CSIO5* Lummen, CSIO 5* Hickstead and many others.

In 2004, Sharn moved to the USA, continuing to compete and has won in excess of 50 Grand Prix competitions to date. In addition to his victories as a rider, Sharn has coached riders who have represented their countries in the Olympic Games, World Cup Finals, World Championships and the Pan American Games.

Sharn and his fiance, Lauren Balcomb split their time between their home bases in Kentucky, Wellington and Ocala Florida — when they are not on the road for competitions.

A lot of riders in America, travel to Europe to find their horses, as there is a completely different market over there.
With all the restrictions, Steve and I have found a concept, that brings proven Grand Prix horses, young Grand Prix prospects, amateur horses and hunters together in one place: European Select Auction!.

With more than 15 years of experience already, Steve Tinti has managed to make a name for himself in the horse trading business. Based in Belgium, in the heart of show jumping, he is now the head of ST Stables, which he created 8 years ago.

Due to all the current travel restrictions set in place, my longtime partner Sharn and I, had the idea of bringing carefully selected horses from Europe to America. Our catalog consists of 12 horses, including Grand Prix horses, with international results up to 1m60, Grand Prix prospects, amateur horses, hunters and equitation horses. All the horses have proven results on their respective levels and have been strictly vetted for the American market.” Steve Tinti.
